Halff Receives Austin Gives Bold Giver Award
AUSTIN, Texas — Halff, an award-winning, employee-owned and full-service infrastructure consulting firm, was awarded the Bold Giver Award in the Generous Business Awards category by the Austin Chamber of Commerce at their annual Austin Gives Awards Ceremony.
The Austin Gives Awards celebrate generosity, community and the charitable efforts of the Austin business community. Nominees are judged by an expert panel of community leaders, who evaluate entries independently based on the impact for-profit businesses are making in communities.
Through the Halff Community Initiative (HCI), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Halff employees have given back to the communities where they live and work. Established in 2017, HCI was formed with the purpose of giving back directly to the communities Halff serves by focusing on engagement through personal time and monetary commitments to causes that employees value and support.
HCI has supported many charitable organizations in the Austin area, including ATX Free Fridge, Caritas of Austin, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Farmshare Austin and Mobile Loaves & Fishes.
In 2024, HCI donated $36,020 to Austin nonprofits and volunteered more than 555 hours. Since HCI’s inception, approximately $133,000 has been donated to Austin-area charities.
